Club Challenge SCABS VS NHBC 2023

It’s on again! The annual Club Challenge.
Two clubs battle it out to see  who is the ultimate brewer and Club champion.

This year  it’s Noosa’s turn to host and we are headed back to Boiling Pot Brewing Co.

SCABS has taken the win 2 years running, let’s defend the title and go back to back to back!

What’s up for grabs?

1st Prize

• Your Name & Club engraved on the cub challenge trophy
• Brew your winning recipe with Boiling Pot
• That’s a day shadowing Boiling Pot brewers and learning what they do and how they do it!

…and We’ll throw in a few extra Prizes for SCABS top placings.

Competition Details:

• Competition style “Saison”
• Brewers from each club will submit an individual entry
• Each club picks its best 3 entries to represent their club
• Tip, you will be judged on BJCP style guide

How to Enter:

• Free to entry, must have current membership
• Email Sunshinecoastbrewers@gmail.com to confirm entry
• Please fill 3x Pet Bottles
• Include a list of all ingredients
• Label with all key information (ABV, IBU)

SCABS Collection Day and Top 3 Selection

• TBC location – 29th April
• Drop off your beer, join in the judging (we’ll do this as a team)
• Have a couple of beers and a feed with Mates (we’ll put on a small BBQ)

Presentation Night – Final :

• Friday 5th May 6pm
• Boiling Pot Brewing Co.
• Beers will be Judged by Boiling Pot
